The Broadcasting Mission
and The Everlasting Gospel
The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB)
| The NRB was founded in 1944. It is an interdenominational
non-profit organization and represents more than
7,000 members of Christian broadcasters throughout
the world. These include such resources as radio
and TV religious broadcasting organizations, program
producers, multimedia experts, video-program producers,
and so on. At each conference, these experts of
the broadcasting world gather from mission organizations
around the world. The NRB General Convention holds
this large annual event to explore ways of coordinating
mission strategies and exchanging information in
the different specialized fields. At the 150,000
square foot exhibition and convention hall, through
seminars and teaching sessions, they offer the opportunity
for members to learn the latest broadcasting techniques.

The NRB consists of a 90-member board of directors, 12
board members, the executive committee, president, vice-president,
and chairman of the board of directors. Presently, the
president of the NRB is Dr. Brandt Gustavson. IEGM operates
as a member of the NRB.

The Need for Broadcasting the Everlasting
Gospel

The Everlasting Gospel is the message of how to
prepare for the Second Coming of the Lord as the
end of the period of time known as the “last
days” approaches. Now is the time when the
Second Coming of the Lord is at hand! Therefore,
this is the time in God’s plan to preach the
Everlasting Gospel throughout the whole earth!
In Revelation 14:6, there appeared “an angel
flying in the midst of heaven” having the
everlasting gospel to preach to those that dwell
on the earth. |
Nowadays, radio, television, communication satellites,
cable TV, and the internet perform the role of such an
all-encompassing ministry. Because there is not much time
left before the history of the world comes to an end,
God wants us to preach His gospel in the most powerful
and effective ways. I am convinced that God is going to
mobilize all the religious broadcasters in the USA and
throughout world for this purpose.
The broadcasting mission organizations performed a magnificent
job as leaders of 20th century world evangelization. In
the 21st century, I am expecting them to take the new
mission paradigm of world mission through the Everlasting
Gospel, and I am praying that they be guided by the Holy
Spirit to carry out this last great commission of the
Lord. (1 Cor. 2:10; Rev. 5:6)
“45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom
his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them
meat in due season? 46. Blessed is that servant, whom
his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47. Verily
I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all
his goods.” (Mt. 24:45-47)
