Founding Background

International Everlasting Gospel Mission(IEGM) was founded in October of 1978 by Evangelist Kim according to the will of God. Based in New York, IEGM is an interdenominational Christian mission organization formed to preach the Everlasting Gospel. Its primary purpose is to prepare for the way of Jesus' Second Coming.

In February of 1952, Kim died and while physically dead his soul was caught up into heaven to meet Jesus. Jesus gave him a special mission to prepare for His Second Coming as He gave him the spirit of revelation to understand "The secret of future happenings in the Book of Revelation". Afterward Kim was revived, and began to preach the Gospel everywhere he went. During his 20 years of service to the Lord as an itinerant evangelist, he led over 300,000 souls to the Lord in Korea and East Asia.

During a forty day prayer and fasting time in the winter of 1975, Evangelist Kim received another revelation: to preach the Everlasting Gospel in the Book of Revelation to all nations. He moved his mission headquarters to the United States on October 9, 1978 by the will of God and started IEGM to carry out this mission.

Founding Purpose

The purpose of IEGM is to glorify God by preparing for Jesus' Second Coming and by doing God's will on earth. God has given Evangelist Kim the clear revelation.

  1. To prepare the saints to face the imminent Great Tribulation, the seven bowls of  God, s wrath on the earth and the judgement of God.
  2. To preach the Everlasting Gospel to all nations so that missionaries of the last days will be raised to prepare for Jesus' Second Coming.

In order to do this:

  1. We are looking for precious servants of the Lord who will be "vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use"(2 Tim. 2:21). Also we are looking for  missionaries from all the nations to join with us.
  2. We are holding international and interdenominational mission conferences to equip the saints to be missionaries for the Last Days.
  3. We are expecting prayer support from the Body of Christ, whether individually or cooperatively.

Mission Statement

Every church and saint from every nation, tribe, language and people shall join the Second Coming of Jesus(Rev. 10:11). In order to do this:

  1. We equip and train committed Christians with the Everlasting Gospel and send them out as missionaries to all nations around the world(Rev. 7:3, 14:6-7, 5:6, 22:20).
  2. We focus on all kinds of mass-media as tools of ministry, including broadcasting and  mass crusade and literature. This is in order to share the Everlasting Gospel(Dan. 12:3).
  3. We are preparing for the forceful advancement of the Great Tribulation in cooperation  with spiritual giants and other mission organizations from all over the world(Eccl. 4:12).
  4. We are preparing for Jesus' Second Coming by praying for servants of God to be  raised up who will serve the Lord sacrificially for the Everlasting Gospel, and by raising mighty warriors who will battle against the spiritual forces of evil(Rev. 5:8, 1Pet.4:7, 5:8, Rev. 14:6-7, 11-15).

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Holy Bible is the only divinely inspired authoritative Word of God given to men as an infallible guide to faith and practice.

We believe that there is but one God, and that He is revealed in the Scriptures to be composed of three eternal Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died and bodily rose again, ascended to heaven and is now at the right hand of God the Father, waiting to return to earth in glory.

We believe that Christ's shed blood provides the only way for sinful man to be restored to the presence of a loving God.

We believe that the present ministry of the indwelling Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a godly life.

We believe that both the redeemed and the unsaved will be resurrected - the redeemed unto the resurrection of life with God and the unsaved unto the resurrection of eternal damnation and separation from God.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
