Ongoing Miracles

Fort Portal, a quiet scenic city of 750,000 people, the pearl of Africa is located between the borders of Zaire and Rwanda. The IEGM ministry team was privileged to reach out to this God designated city for the end time harvest work.

The citywide missions conference was held at Buhinga Grounds during the week of August 8-14, 1994, where 3,500 participants attended a spiritual leadership seminar. 250,000 people attended the healing crusade during this power packed week.

The world Body of Christ and many God starved people in and out of the city experienced the mighty flow of the Spirit's power during the week. This great spiritual awakening was being experienced for the first time in the history of the city. Evangelist Daniel Kim ministered as a catalytic spark plug to kindle all the hearts to the call of repentance, regeneration, revival and full armor with powerful Everlasting Gospel.

Seminar participants from interdenominational backgrounds were intensively challenged by the end time mission vision of the chosen messages- the Everlasting Gospel, the Seal of the Living God and Seven Spirits of God. The new anointing of the Holy Spirit caused many to rededicate their ministries, making them well equipped end time harvesters for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

During the healing crusade many people suffering from various illnesses were touched by the healing power from the Lord when Evangelist Kim delivered faith giving messages. He offered effective prayers for the sick and placed his hands on each of them. Our Master of healing clearly manifested Himself through miraculous signs and wonders for His glory.

In the wonderful name of the Lord Jesus Christ major healing miracles were experienced: seven blind people were restored to sight; three who were lame walked; four had cancerous diseases removed; three deaf heard; two mutes spoke; many demon possessed were delivered. Many people suffering from disk problems, heart disease, tuberculosis, and even AIDS were cured.

Many lost souls found Jesus as their personal Savior, submitted to Him and joined in the order of the partakers of everlasting life in Christ. We give all glory, thanks and praise to the Lord of the harvest for His wonderful work in the city of Fort Portal, Uganda.

According to the news after our campaign in the city, such miracles signs as witnessed by the apostles of the early church, who activated their faith in Christ, by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, still continue among the believers today.

Pastor Silas Atugonza, the host of the Fort Portal program, recently visited IEGM HQ's in America. The news he brought with him of the Lord was so spiritually moving that it filled us with excitement and joy.

During the power packed week of the campaign, powerful manifestations of the Holy Spirit brought about divine intervention. Massive healing miracles were performed and numbers of people experienced God's supernatural love and care. Reference was made to biblical cases- Paul's handkerchief and apron(Acts 19:12), and our Lord's promise for healing and miracles(Mk. 16:16-18).

During the laying on of hands on the handkerchieves, sweaters and aprons, people prayed that miracles would happen. Just as the Apostle Paul had done, they asked that the Lord would grant their requests. They returned home with joy and renewed faith. They put the anointed clothes on their family members and neighbors who were sick, and prayed in the name of Jesus. Miracles continued to take place!

For example, a boy who was born crippled was not able to attend the healing crusade. His father came to the crusade alone, praying for something special as he witnessed wonderful things happening among the believers. He returned home with an anointed handkerchief for his beloved one. Earnestly praying for his son, he put the handkerchief on him.

While he prayed, the boy suddenly felt the power of the Spirit come over his body. He gained strength enough to jump to his feet and began to walk around and then he started rushed out to share the wonderful things of God with their neighbors. Since their personal encounter with divine healing, they have become zealous witnesses. Tirelessly and boldly, they continue to testify to others that Jesus Christ is living and working.

Pastor Atugonza said "In Fort Portal the secular news media used to be critical or skeptical of evangelistic meetings that had been held in this area. During and after Rev. Kim's campaign, however, the media reported that the Holy Spirit had touched souls and healed the sick with genuine miracles and provided people with reasons to believe in Jesus Christ". To Him be all glory and honor!

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover"(Mk. 16:17-18).

A formerly blind woman gives honor to Jesus!

She was blind for five years-now she can see again.

"... By His stripes we were healed"(1 Pet. 2:24).
