A Challenging Meeting
with Pakistan Campus Crusade for Christ

March 26, 1996

Right after the Hyderabad program held on March 20-24, 1996, we had a prayer meeting and fellowship with about a hundred Christian leaders. This took place at the headquarters office of PCCC in Karachi some hours prior to catching our returning flight to America on March 26, 1996. It was made possible by the zealous efforts of PCCC and the National Christian Women's Prayer League(NCWPL).

Attending were pastor Zahir Uddin(National Dir. PCCC) and scores of his staff, Mrs. Nashim Uddin(President, NCWPL) and leading prayer members of NCWPL. At the meeting was Mrs. Dost and her husband Deputy Sec. Law Enforcement officer Mr. K. Dost, who is one of the highest government officers among Christians in the country. Also attending were some leading figures of the locality plus medical missionaries from overseas.

The message preached was on the "Power of Prayer" and "Being Equipped by the Word" to win the war against Satan. Some examples of our forefathers were presented that became a pattern for subsequent generations to use with the power of prayer for changing Christian history. Rev. Kim also taught them how to effectively utilize the powerful key of prayer to gain victory in their personal lives, ministries and national goals for Christ.

It was a blessed time during the laying on of hands. The Holy Spirit revived their faith and strengthened them to be mightier prayer warriors. All of them confessed simultaneously that they were greatly challenged and inspired. Having Christian fellowship followed by prayer time was something different, and left them with a refreshed hearts. They cordially invited us to come back soon to Pakistan to conduct another crusade in Karachi, which is the largest city of the country with a population of 16million people.
